Geography @Guelph is housed in the Hutt Building on the University of Guelph main campus, next to the University Centre. The building provides an administrative area, office space for faculty and graduate students, as well as research laboratories and other space to support the department’s commitment to experiential learning.
Geography @Guelph is home to internationally acclaimed faculty whose research focuses on the interaction of human and environmental systems and spans the natural and social sciences. Our faculty produce high quality research, attract external research grants and awards ($6million since 2009), and disseminate research results within scholarly venues and to non-academic stakeholders.
