Established in 1966, Geography, Environment & Geomatics @Guelph focuses on the interaction of society and environment. Our community includes nineteen full-time faculty who are acclaimed researchers and award-winning teachers, numerous sessional faculty committed to high quality instruction, and seven dedicated staff who provide outstanding administrative and technical support. Our graduate and undergraduate student body are the lifeblood of our Department, and engage in academic and extracurricular activities that connect scholarship, practice and lived experience through teaching and research. Collectively we strive to explore and address major social and environmental issues facing our world, from the local to the global scale.
