Details

The independent study option is designed to provide senior undergraduate students with an opportunity to pursue library or field research under faculty supervision and to prepare a research report. Formal agreement between the student and the faculty supervisor is required, as is approval of the department chair. Course Waiver Form needs to be signed by both the student and faculty supervisor.
Restriction(s): Restricted to majors in Earth Surface Science, Environmental Geoscience and Geomatics, Environmental Governance, Geography and B.Sc.(Env.) with an overall average of at least 70% at the time of registration. Instructor consent required.
