  • Postdoc Fellow and Research Associate, Dept. of Geography, Environment & Geomatics, University of Guelph (2014.3 – Present): My work mainly focuses on playing a leadership role to conduct GIS software design, development, and application for integrated economic-hydrologic modeling of agricultural watersheds, ecosystem services evaluations, and computational analysis of environmental protection policies.

  • Internship, USDA-ARS Cropping Systems and Water Quality Research Unit (2011.10 – 2012.10): I developed and applied Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model in assessing water quality benefits of conservation practices in China. I was awarded by USDA for significant contribution to the SWAT model.

  • University teaching (2016 – present): 3 years of university teaching experience, e.g. 3rd year undergraduate course “GIS and Spatial Analysis” (rating 4.13/5.0), provided guest lectures on graduate courses such as “Environmental Modelling”.

  • Peer-review publications reviewer (2015.2 – present): I have been serving as reviewers for top-ranked field-relevant academic journals, e.g. Transactions of the ASABE, Journal of the American Water Resources Association, Land Degradation & Development, Water etc.
